Coverage calculator
How many searches does your business need covered?
Every service you sell, times every place people name when they search for it. That count is your keyword list, and the plans are sized by it: 5, 10, 20, 40 or 100.
Keyword targets you need
9
People living in the places you picked: 572,351 (U.S. Census Bureau, population estimates for July 1, 2024 (Vintage 2024)). A model, not a forecast: it counts searches to target, not customers you will get. Competition decides how fast any of them move.
How to read the count
The planner multiplies on purpose. "Water heater repair Henrico" and "water heater repair Chesterfield" are different searches with different results pages, so each needs a page or a profile that answers it. If you don't serve a county, leave it out: a plan built on places you don't really work wastes money and can look like spam to Google.
The smaller counties and the Tri-Cities often have little competition, so they can move faster than "Richmond" itself. The areas page helps you describe your coverage across the metro, and the pricing page lists what each plan includes.
