Break-even calculator
How many customers pay for a plan?
Put in what a typical job brings in and keeps, and how many inquiries you win. The table shows what each plan needs to bring in each month before it costs you nothing.
Gross profit per job: $180
| Plan | Per month | Customers to cover it | Inquiries that implies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $65 | 1 | 4 |
| Neighborhood | $125 | 1 | 4 |
| Citywide | $235 | 2 | 7 |
| Capital Region | $325 | 2 | 7 |
| Commonwealth | $575 | 4 | 14 |
Your numbers, our plan prices, rounded up to whole customers. A model of break-even, not a forecast of results: how many inquiries any plan brings depends on your market and competition, and SEO usually takes months to build.
What the numbers leave out
Break-even is a floor, not a promise. It ignores repeat customers and referrals, which make a first job worth more than its ticket, and it ignores the months SEO takes to build. Judge a plan over several months against the inquiries you can trace to search, and ask every new customer how they found you.
The default numbers are an example only, not figures for any Richmond trade. If you would rather test the work before committing, every plan can be bought as a single round; see the plans.
